Description
The City of Orlando Procurement and Contracts Division is implementing an electronic bidding system to streamline solicitation responses. Effective July 1, 2026, solicitations will include participation under the Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and Local Business Enterprise (LBE) Preference Program. This program provides bid and proposal preferences for certified firms and when using certified subcontractors on eligible City procurements and contracting opportunities. Suppliers interested in participating are encouraged to obtain certification through the City of Orlando Business Development Division. Businesses can also use the City's certified business directory to search for firms that have been certified through the Small and Local Business Enterprise Program.
