Description
Torrance County is soliciting proposals for a single-award professional-services contract to provide a coordinator for its Local Driving While Intoxicated Program. The coordinator will provide strategic leadership, planning, management, organization, direction, and supervision for program operations and will work with courts, law enforcement, schools, health-care providers, community organizations, government officials, and the DWI Planning Council. Responsibilities include coordinating enforcement activities; conducting education, training, workshops, seminars, and public-awareness campaigns; engaging community stakeholders; collecting and analyzing data; developing partnerships; managing grant applications, budgets, compliance, and reports; screening referred offenders; overseeing records and probation-fee collections; supporting program evaluation; preparing reports for the County Commission; and attending relevant meetings and training. The solicitation requires a high school diploma or GED, a New Mexico driver's license, either a four-year degree or four years of relevant experience, two years of supervisory experience, and two years of grant-writing, budget, management, and reporting experience. Subcontracting is not allowed without prior written agency approval.
