Description
Seattle Public Schools is seeking one vendor to provide comprehensive third-party administration and consulting for employee benefits under Washington's School Employees Benefits Board program. The scope includes eligibility and enrollment administration, benefits communications, open enrollment support, billing validation and reconciliation, payroll adjustments, COBRA and self-pay administration, employee support, appeals, compliance with federal and state requirements, and coordination with the Health Care Authority, SEBB, Navia, MetLife, and other providers. The vendor must provide a dedicated account team, benefits administration and consulting expertise, a benefits hotline operating at least five days per week for nine hours per day, an integrated employee benefits website, secure data interfaces with SAP and other systems, reporting and analysis, and support for system improvements. Proposals must include an annual fixed fee for the full scope and a separate annual fixed fee for optional third-party administrator transition support. The initial contract is three years with up to two additional one-year extensions.
