The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to make a sole-source award to P.D.S. Consultants, Inc. for a four-month, firm-fixed-price indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity bridge contract covering prescription eyeglasses, including dress and safety eyeglasses, and licensed-optician fitting services. The contractor must provide all labor and materials and perform fitting services onsite at VA facilities serving beneficiaries throughout Veterans Integrated Service Network 1. The period of performance is October 1, 2026, through January 31, 2027, consisting of a two-month base period followed by two one-month option periods. The estimated total contract value is $4,214,643.50. The notice is not a request for competitive proposals and states that no solicitation is available; the agency intends to award to the incumbent certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business while a longer-term national procurement is completed.
