Description
The Alabama Department of Public Health is requesting annual scheduled service for one Nikon E100 microscope for the period October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027. The work includes cleaning and lubrication as needed, plus adjustment and alignment of the microscope’s mechanical, optical, and electrical components. The vendor must be a Nikon-authorized repair station and must include any applicable travel charges in its quote. Minor repairs are included as applicable, but replacement or repair parts for other than minor repairs are excluded and must be reported and quoted separately. The quote must also provide an hourly rate for additional labor and parts if needed. The resulting agreement may be renewed annually by written agreement for up to five years or until the total contract cost reaches $25,000, including renewals.
