Description
The City of El Paso de Robles is soliciting construction services for Riverside Avenue Improvements from 17th Street to 21st Street, DPW Project No. 22-34. Work includes furnishing labor, materials, and equipment; adjusting utilities; preserving monuments; performing dig-out repairs; placing hot-mix asphalt leveling and surface courses; installing key-cut tapers, striping, fiber conduits, and manholes; and providing necessary work plans, permits, and inspections. Grindings may be transported to the Paso Robles Municipal Airport site. The contractor must comply with applicable California Air Resources Board off-road diesel fleet regulations and submit valid Certificates of Reported Compliance for its fleet and listed subcontractors with the bid. The project requires a Class A General Engineering contractor's license, prevailing-wage compliance, and Department of Industrial Relations registration. The engineer's estimate is $916,400. Bids require security of at least 10% of the bid amount; the successful bidder must provide payment and performance bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract price. Work is to be completed within 40 working days after the Notice to Proceed, with liquidated damages of $500 per calendar day for delay.
