Description
Lincoln County is requesting bids for a single-prime, unit-price construction contract to relocate the Bethel Booster Pump Station. The work includes construction of a brick-and-mortar booster pump station; associated site, grading, demolition, and temporary security-fencing work; installation of 8-inch and 12-inch water mains and abandonment of existing water mains; construction of a concrete access driveway; and installation of chemical treatment systems, including HDXLPE bulk-storage tanks with a minimum capacity of 545 gallons each and chemical metering pumps with a 10,000:1 turndown ratio. Addendum 2 upsizes the pump-station piping and associated fittings and appurtenances from 6 inches to 8 inches and rejects a skid-mounted packaged pump station as an approved equal. The project also includes electrical and process-control work, with revised control-system requirements, along with required testing and inspections. The expected project duration is 365 days. The project may be partially or fully funded through the State Revolving Fund and may therefore be subject to federal requirements, including Davis-Bacon and American Iron and Steel provisions. Bidders must acknowledge Addendum 2 in the Bid Form; only plan holders who attended the mandatory pre-bid conference may submit a responsive bid.
