Description
Blue River Valley School Corporation is soliciting sealed bids for Phase 2 renovations to its junior high and high school. The project will be awarded through multiple prime contracts in three bid categories: General Trades; Plumbing and HVAC; and Electrical. Scope includes demolition, concrete patching, masonry, carpentry, insulation, roofing, doors and hardware, glazing, drywall, ceilings, flooring, painting, casework, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, communications, and fire alarm systems. Bids must include bid security equal to 10% of the bid. The successful bidders must furnish performance and payment bonds equal to 100% of their contract amounts. Construction is anticipated to begin within 100 calendar days after receipt of bids and must be completed within 220 consecutive calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. Contractors must also comply with applicable public-works requirements, including insurance, background checks, E-Verify, drug-testing-plan, and self-performance requirements described in the project documents.
