Description
The Orleans Parish School Board (OPSB) is soliciting bids for HVAC improvements at Laurel School, located at 820 Jackson Ave, New Orleans, LA 70130. The project number is ITB No. 26-FAC-0068. Bidders must be licensed for Mechanical and Electrical Construction in Louisiana. Bids are due by 2:00 PM CDT on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, and will be publicly opened at that time. Late bids will not be accepted. Special accommodation requests must be made at least seven days before the bid opening. Bid documents can be obtained from Infinity Engineering Consultants, LLC. via email or a downloadable link. All bids must include bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the sum of the Base Bid and all Alternates. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract amount, from an approved surety company licensed to do business in Louisiana. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Laurel School (820 Jackson Ave, New Orleans, LA 70130). Attendance is not required but highly encouraged. Bidders must state on the bid form that they are familiar with the project site. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The project may be financed in whole or in part by federal or other funds, allowing the Owner to hold bids for longer than forty-five (45) calendar days.
