Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care Medical Center (SLVHCS) is conducting a sources sought synopsis to identify potential sources for two manufacturer-authorized transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) ultrasound transducers. These transducers must be compatible with existing Philips EPIQ CVx/CVxi cardiovascular ultrasound systems. The requested equipment is intended to replace current devices at the end of their service life, ensuring the continuity of patient care operations, workflow efficiency, and enhanced clinical diagnostic capabilities for veteran patients. The Statement of Work (SOW) details the requirements for these transducers, which must support high-quality cardiovascular diagnostic imaging, including 2D, xPlane, and Live 3D imaging, Doppler functionality, AI-assisted optimization, and Dynamic Heart Model compatibility. The transducers should feature PureWave and xMatrix technology with approximately 3000 transducer elements and a frequency range of 5-1 MHz. Delivery and installation are expected within 30-60 calendar days after contract award, with a minimum one-year warranty following final acceptance. Interested vendors are invited to submit a capability statement (5 pages or less), detailing their ability to provide the specified transducers, including an authorized letter of performance. Vendors must also provide their business size and socio-economic status (SDVOSB/VOSB, Hubzone, 8(a), woman-owned, large/small business), UEI number, and SAM.gov/VetCert registration status. GSA Contract numbers, if applicable, should also be included. This is a sources sought notice for market research purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation.
