Description
The Regional Transit Authority (RTA) of New Orleans is soliciting bids for dry dock and repair services for the RTA 2 Dry Dock ferry. The scope of work includes a comprehensive range of services such as hull and underwater work, pump and piping maintenance, hydraulic and mechanical repairs, propulsion system servicing, electrical system inspection, painting, and life-saving equipment recertification. The contract will be a fixed-price contract, and all labor, materials, and services necessary for the ferry's upkeep are to be included. Bidders are required to register on the RTA's Procureware website to obtain the full Invitation for Bid (IFB) documents. Any questions must be submitted through the Procureware website by June 18, 2026. Bids are due by 2:00 PM on June 25, 2026, with a bid opening to follow on the same day at the RTA Board Room. The RTA is committed to ensuring non-discrimination of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), although no specific DBE goal has been established for this project.
