Description
The Port of Oakland is procuring medium-voltage cables, including 2,250 feet of 5/8 kV, single-conductor, 500 Kcmil copper MV-105, 133% EPR cable in three 750-foot cuts, and 750 feet of 4/0 AWG THHN/THWN-2 stranded green copper wire. The addendum confirms that these quantities are firm and that no additional mandatory requirements apply regarding conductor construction, insulation, shielding, jacket, manufacturer, or part number. This is a supply-and-delivery procurement with no on-site installation services. Bidders must acknowledge Addendum No. 1 on the Bid Form; failure to do so may disqualify the bid. Bid security and performance bonds are not required. Bidders must submit the Living Wage Statement even though the contract is not considered a covered service contract, and must certify whether they are an authorized dealer or reseller and source manufacturer products directly or through authorized channels. Submitted pricing must remain valid for 45 calendar days, with optional extension through June 30, 2027, for additional purchases and purchases by other public agencies.
