Description
Wicomico County Public Schools is soliciting proposals for the design, procurement, and installation of a rooftop photovoltaic system on the standing-seam roof at Bennett Middle School. The specified system target is 375 kW DC/300 kW AC, with an anticipated first-year production of 523,018 kWh. The scope includes PV modules, utility-interactive inverters, non-penetrating standing-seam clamps and rail racking, wiring, disconnects, grounding, monitoring and data acquisition equipment, utility interconnection, permitting, and related electrical components. The proposal must remain within a fixed $1,000,000 grant budget and address technical design, grant compliance, Maryland workforce residency requirements, utility and SCADA integration, lifecycle cost, and maintenance. The contractor must include one year of maintenance with renewal pricing, provide project drawings within 45 days of the Notice to Proceed, and submit technical and pricing proposals separately. A Certificate of Insurance is required with the submission, while performance and payment bonds are required after award.
