Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture is soliciting comprehensive mail processing services for the National Agricultural Library and Administrative and Financial Management operations. The contractor must process incoming, outgoing, internal, registered, certified, express, bulk, and other mail; sort, weigh, meter, wrap, bag, and route mail; maintain address-change information and daily logs; prepare special-delivery items; and sign postal receipts while obtaining government signatures. The scope also includes recurring pickup and delivery between USDA facilities and other federal locations in Maryland and the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area, including rush and special mail service when requested. Services must be performed on site during stated weekday operating hours and in accordance with U.S. Postal Service regulations. The requirement consists of a one-month base period and two one-month option periods, with pricing required for all line items.
