Description
Lansing Board of Water and Light is soliciting proposals for annual AED, CPR, and first aid training, including awareness-level bloodborne-pathogen instruction, for approximately 400 employees. Training must comply with MIOSHA Part 554, Category B, and American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or equivalent protocols. The provider must supply all manuals, instructional materials, training media, simulators, mannequins, training aids, completion certificates or cards, and other equipment needed for the classes, and must issue certifications to employees who satisfactorily complete training. Sessions will generally occur from January through March at various Board facilities, primarily Tuesdays through Thursdays between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.; the buyer will coordinate the schedule, locations, and class sizes. Proposals should address instructor qualifications and certifications, course duration, trainee capacity, blackout dates, training-material samples or a class agenda, pricing, references for at least three similar projects, safety data, subcontractors, and any exceptions to the buyer’s terms. The buyer prefers per-trainee pricing but will consider per-session, hourly, or other pricing structures.
