Description
The Village of Huntley is soliciting sealed bids for rehabilitation of the raw sewage pump station at its West Wastewater Treatment Plant. The work includes furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to remove and replace existing piping and related materials for the raw sewage pump. Bids will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. A bid security equal to at least 5% of the maximum bid is required in the form of a cashier's, certified, or bank check, or a bid bond. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the total base bid, within 15 days after notice of award. Prevailing-wage and applicable Illinois public-works labor requirements apply.
