Description
The County of San Mateo is soliciting proposals for professional oral and maxillofacial surgery services. These services will be provided to patients at the Youth Services Center, Maguire Correctional Facility, and Maple Street Correctional Facility. The scope of work includes providing surgical services, including the repair of mandibular fractures, in clinic day units of at least eight hours. The contractor will also participate in teaching and training programs, maintain active staff membership, and serve on relevant committees. Services are to be performed in accordance with all applicable regulatory and accreditation standards, including those set by the National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC). The contract term is for three years, from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2029, with a total fiscal obligation not to exceed $100,000.00 per year. The contractor must maintain all necessary licenses and insurance, including professional liability insurance.
