Submission Instructions
Description
The contractor must provide the labor, equipment, and materials to bring the residence’s electrical work into compliance with applicable codes and permit requirements. The specified work includes installing an interconnected hardwired smoke and carbon monoxide detector in the basement (or a radio-frequency interconnected unit with a 10-year lithium battery if hardwiring is not feasible), a dedicated water-heater circuit, four basement service lights, and GFCI outlets at the service panel and furnace. The contractor is also responsible for wall and ceiling repairs resulting from wiring work, daily cleanup, permits, and an 18-month warranty. Any exposed wiring in living areas requires prior approval by change order.
