Description
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is conducting market research to identify sources able to supply 2.5 kg of commercial off-the-shelf cordierite powder. The requested material is off-white, with a particle size of 1–5 microns, bulk density of 0.42 g/cm³, and melting point of 1,179–1,471 °C. This is an RFI for market research only; the agency will not award a contract based on responses. Vendors are encouraged to provide technical specifications or material information and indicate their capability and interest. A capability statement and pricing are not required. Proprietary information should be minimized and clearly marked.
