Description
Ector County Independent School District's School Nutrition Department is soliciting a complete turnkey emergency backup power solution for its School Nutrition Warehouse. The scope includes assessment of the existing generator and electrical system, load verification, recommendation of a suitable generator configuration, equipment, delivery, installation, electrical integration, testing, commissioning, training, permits, closeout documentation, and related incidental installation. The system must provide reliable emergency backup power for three walk-in freezers and one walk-in refrigerator. Proposers must evaluate existing conditions and recommend a complete primary solution; optional alternate solutions may also be submitted with separate firm-fixed pricing. The proposal must address the technical solution, existing-system assessment and load calculations, technical narrative and drawings, project schedule, service, warranty and support, experience, key personnel and subcontractors, applicable licenses, and manufacturer specifications and technical literature. The procurement will be evaluated and awarded on a best-value basis.
