Description
This lump-sum construction package covers furnishing and installing miscellaneous specialties for the Vista Continuation High School modernization. The scope includes marker boards; tactile, dimensional, address, building, field, site, and electronic signage; toilet compartments and accessories; mirrors; wall protection; Knox Boxes; fire extinguishers and recessed cabinets; flagpoles; residential appliances; interior bike racks; projection screens; and audiovisual equipment supports. Prequalification is required for the prime contractor and applicable mechanical, electrical, and plumbing subcontractors. Prospective bidders must submit the Owner-provided prequalification questionnaire and financial statement no later than ten business days before the public bid opening and must be announced as prequalified no later than five business days before opening. The project requires a California Class B contractor's license, prevailing-wage and public-works compliance, a 10 percent bid bond, and 100 percent payment and performance bonds.
