Description
Lake County is soliciting an indefinite-quantity contract for the as-needed collection, transportation, screening, treatment, recycling, and compliant disposal of used oil, used oil filters, used antifreeze, sludge, pads, oil absorbents, and other liquids. The contractor must provide all labor, personnel, vehicles, equipment, storage containers, transportation, and related materials; prioritize recycling and reuse where acceptable; and dispose of non-recyclable or contaminated materials in accordance with Florida Department of Environmental Protection and other applicable regulations. The contractor must maintain applicable permits, registrations, USDOT and EPA identification numbers, properly licensed drivers, labeled and placarded vehicles, and at least three years of relevant hazardous-waste experience. The scope includes container delivery and replacement within three business days of notice, employee training, metered or otherwise documented quantity measurements, monthly and quarterly service reports, facility disclosures and permit documentation, and optional vacuum-truck-with-operator pricing. The initial contract term is one year with two optional two-year renewals, subject to mutual written agreement, and no minimum usage or expenditure is guaranteed.
