The U.S. Army’s Product Manager Tactical Training System is conducting market research on integrating Group 1 unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) with the TRACR II training-range control system. Respondents are asked to describe an implementation and validation approach for the attached interface control document, including network communications, message parsing and handling, command execution, telemetry, control-state transitions, and expected UAS behavior. Responses should also identify hardware needed beyond the aircraft, such as radios and ground stations, and may identify unclear ICD provisions or recommend improvements. Submit a white paper of no more than five pages, excluding the cover page, cover letter, table of contents, and any past-performance documentation. Include company identification and contact details, business size and socioeconomic status under the listed NAICS codes, and a brief summary of relevant experience. This is a voluntary sources-sought/RFI notice for market research and acquisition planning, not a commitment to procure; the government will not reimburse response costs.
