Description
Fairfax County Public Schools is soliciting sealed bids from prequalified bidders for the Roof Replacement Project at Woodson High School. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, and related services in accordance with the contract specifications and drawings, including removal and replacement of roofing systems and associated components. The reroofing area is approximately 62,800 square feet. Only prequalified bidders may submit bids, and attendance at the mandatory pre-bid meeting is required. The project is scheduled to begin June 19, 2027, reach substantial completion by August 14, 2027, and reach final completion by September 30, 2027. The project includes a $25,000 contingency allowance, a five percent bid bond, 100 percent performance and payment bonds, prevailing-wage requirements, and specified insurance and past-performance requirements. Bid documents will be available through Bonfire one week before the mandatory pre-bid meeting and at the meeting.
