Description
The City of Marina is soliciting proposals for janitorial and custodial services at various City facilities. The contractor must furnish all labor, equipment, cleaning solutions, supplies, and related services for recurring cleaning, restroom servicing, waste sorting, day porter support, emergency cleanup, facility security procedures, and other tasks detailed in Exhibit A. Services cover multiple municipal buildings, parks, restrooms, public safety facilities, and airport-related facilities, with frequencies ranging from daily to quarterly. The initial contract term is three years, effective upon full execution, with three additional one-year renewal options subject to satisfactory performance and available funding. Proposers must demonstrate janitorial services experience for at least three cities or communities during the past three years, maintain required licenses and registrations, and submit qualifications, relevant experience, approach, pricing by facility, and the required proposal forms. The contractor must comply with California janitorial-service registration, prevailing-wage, safety, security-screening, insurance, and environmental-cleaning requirements. Performance and payment bonds are required before work begins, each equal to 100% of the first year's contract price.
