Description
The City seeks proposals from financial institutions for a 36-month installment purchase financing arrangement of up to $599,082 for city vehicles. The listed purchases include ten Ford Explorers, a 2026 Ford F-150, a Chevrolet Tahoe, and a forensic workstation. Proposals must describe similar financing completed in North Carolina; provide a complete issuance-cost structure and proposed rates; and include a repayment schedule based on 36-month monthly amortization, payments in advance, and level principal payments. Proposals must also address tax-exempt considerations, early termination without a prepayment penalty, a minimum 60-day commitment to proposed interest rates, and non-appropriation/early termination terms. The City anticipates closing the installment purchase contract by November 30, 2026.
