Description
The Atlantic County Utilities Authority is soliciting competitive bids for a $3,340,000 bank-qualified, tax-exempt lease-purchase financing arrangement to fund essential capital equipment. The financing will use a five-year amortization structure, with annual principal repayments of $668,000 beginning March 1, 2027, and ending March 1, 2031, plus semiannual interest payments on March 1 and September 1. Bidders must include prepayment options and prices, a 30-day rate-lock commitment, a rate-adjustment formula, and all related fees and expenses. Responses will be evaluated on the lowest overall borrowing cost. Bidders must complete the required proposal and DocuSign forms, provide an amortization schedule, disclose all costs, and submit required business-registration, equal-employment-opportunity, insurance, and bid-security documentation. Bid security must include a bid bond and consent of surety; electronically verifiable documents may be uploaded, while non-verifiable originals must also be delivered before bid opening.
