Description
The United Nations Development Programme is seeking an individual consultant to assess, design, and structure implementation-ready fiscal incentives, Islamic and conventional sustainable-finance instruments, blended-finance mechanisms, and financing facilities supporting small and medium-sized enterprises developing sustainable packaging and plastic-waste-avoidance solutions in Jordan’s food and beverage sector. The work includes financing-ecosystem and regulatory assessments, stakeholder engagement, market sounding, financial modeling, investment mobilization, and recommendations for governance, capitalization, risk sharing, and implementation. The assignment requires seven deliverables over 60 working days during a five-month period: an inception report; diagnostic and financing-landscape assessments; a fiscal-policy options paper; a financing-facility design package; a financial model and investment-mobilization strategy; and a final consolidated report, validation workshop, and implementation roadmap. Applicants must have an advanced university degree in a relevant finance, economics, or business field and at least seven years of relevant experience. The proposal must include a technical proposal, signed offeror’s letter with detailed financial breakdown, CV, beneficiary designation form, statement of health, at least four references, and a passport copy.
