Description
The City of Perry is soliciting sealed bids from qualified playground equipment vendors to furnish, deliver, and professionally install one commercial-grade playground structure at each of five existing parks: Oldfield Park, A.D. Redmond Park, Woodland Park, Willie T. Williams Park, and Barbara Calhoun Park. Each structure must serve children ages 2–12, accommodate approximately 24–28 children, have an approximately 48-inch maximum fall height, include traditional play features and at least one component suitable for children with disabilities, and use the specified burgundy, tan, and black color scheme. Comparable structures may be proposed if they meet the stated intent, size, play value, accessibility, and quality requirements. The turnkey scope includes equipment, freight, delivery, labor, assembly, installation, anchoring, footings, incidental materials, testing, site protection, restoration of disturbed areas, cleanup, and applicable safety documentation. Bidders must submit the proposed manufacturer and model, drawings or renderings, dimensions and use zones, technical specifications, warranty information, safety/compliance documentation, an estimated delivery and installation schedule, per-structure turnkey pricing, and total pricing for all five locations. A bid bond of at least 5% is required; the successful bidder must provide 100% performance and payment bonds. The bid package also requires the Bid Form, Contractor's Affidavit, SAVE Affidavit, copy of business license, Pre-Award Oath, and E-Verify affidavit.
