Description
The Department of Water Resources (DWR) is soliciting bids for crane rental services with an operator and crew on an as-needed basis. The anticipated term of the agreement is three years. The services will be performed at various locations within the San Joaquin Field Division, primarily in Western Kern County. Bidders must meet minimum qualifications, including holding a valid certificate from the National Commission for Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO), being actively engaged in the requested services for at least three years, and possessing Certification of Reported Compliance from the California Air Resources Board (CARB). Additionally, the bidder's business and equipment must be located within a 50-mile radius of the San Joaquin O&MCenter in Bakersfield, California. The solicitation requires various sizes of hydraulic truck cranes, including 20-ton, 100-ton, 200-ton, and 300-ton capacity, each with a minimum of 100 feet of boom. All equipment must be maintained in good working order and comply with Air Quality Management District regulations. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder meeting the specifications.
