Description
Kern County is soliciting bids for construction services to perform median improvements on North Chester Avenue. The project scope includes the installation of rock blankets, survey monument encasements, object markers, and roadside signs. Additionally, the work involves constructing concrete medians, adjusting valve box frames and covers to grade, adjusting pull boxes to grade, landscaping, relocating roadside signs, and painting concrete medians. The County will receive sealed bids until 11:00 a.m. on July 22, 2026. Bids can be submitted via mail to Kern County Public Works Department, 2700 "M" Street, Suite 400, Bakersfield, California, 93301; delivered in person or by courier to the Kern County Public Works Department, Suite 400, 4th Floor, Public Services Building, 2700 "M" Street, Bakersfield, California; or delivered in person to the first floor meeting room of the Public Services Building between 10:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
