Description
This project involves the enhancement of the Villa Creek Estuary located at Estero Bluffs State Park in San Luis Obispo County, California. Prime contractors who did not attend the mandatory job showing on April 23, 2026, for the prior bid of this project must refer to the Notice to Contractors included in the Project Manual. Bid documents, including forms, specifications, plans, and addenda, can be downloaded from the specified website. Any questions or discrepancies must be submitted via email to Merrilee.Byrnes@parks.ca.gov no later than 2 p.m., seven calendar days prior to the bid opening date. Answers will be provided via Addendum on the website. The project includes a minimum Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation goal of 6%, with an incentive for exceeding this goal. A five percent (5%) Small Business Preference will be granted to certified small businesses that submit a completed STD 811 Form with their bid proposal. This project is subject to the Public Works Contractor Registration Program (SB 854), requiring registration with the Department of Industrial Relations for contractors and subcontractors.
