Description
The Lafayette Airport Commission is soliciting sealed bids from Louisiana-licensed building contractors for improvements at Lafayette Regional Airport. The work includes repainting the Air Traffic Control Tower exterior—including the tower cab, railings, brick, and plaster—and repainting existing interior drywall, doors, and frames. The project also includes replacement of selected interior carpeting, including static-dissipative carpet in limited areas, minor replacement of ceiling-grid components, and installation of new ceiling tile in areas identified in the plans and specifications. Bidders must use the original bid forms, comply with airport security requirements, provide the required bid security and, if awarded, furnish performance and labor-and-materials payment bonds. The solicitation establishes a 9.87% Small Business Enterprise participation goal, which bidders must meet or address through documented good-faith efforts.
