Description
The City of Aurora Fire Department is soliciting sealed electronic quotes for the removal and replacement of existing flooring at Fire Station 8. The work covers approximately 1,840 square feet of commercial-grade carpet tile and 572 linear feet of rubber cove base in offices, a television room, bedrooms and vanity areas, and a hallway. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, supervision, disposal, subfloor cleaning and minor repairs, carpet tile and cove base installation, transition strips, and final cleanup. Materials must be submitted for approval before installation, and work must be coordinated with ongoing fire-station operations, potentially in phases. Bidders must provide a lump-sum price, product specifications, proof of insurance and licensing, three comparable project references, and other required certifications and forms. Prevailing-wage requirements apply.
