Description
The project requires furnishing and installing plastic laminate casework, including base, wall, tall, and wardrobe cabinets, storage shelving, bookcases, teacher workstations, hardware, hinges, pulls, and drawer slides, together with solid countertops. The work is part of a high school modernization project and is awarded on a lump-sum basis. Prequalification of the prime contractor and applicable mechanical, electrical, and plumbing subcontractors is required before bidding. Prospective bidders must submit the Owner-provided prequalification questionnaire and financial statement no later than ten business days before the public bid opening and must be announced as prequalified no later than five business days before the opening. Prequalification questionnaires may be submitted through Quality Bidders. The estimated bid value is $506,141.30, the project duration is 490 calendar days, and the solicitation requires a 10 percent bid bond, 100 percent payment bond, and 100 percent performance bond.
