Description
Chippewa Hills School District is requesting firm-fixed-price quotations for Category 2 network infrastructure. The scope includes approximately 12 edge switches to replace existing 48-port units, compatible 10GB single-mode transceivers, single-mode fiber cables, firewall equipment, a firewall license renewal, and associated parts, software, and licenses. The specifications identify HPE Aruba CX 6200M or equivalent switches, Fortinet or equivalent firewall equipment, and a WatchGuard M470 or equivalent license renewal. The requested work also includes installation, configuration, and maintenance for the switches and firewalls. Quantities are approximate, non-USF-eligible items must be separately itemized, bidders must have an E-Rate SPIN, and quotations must be clearly marked "E-rate bid" and sent to the specified email addresses. Multi-year contracts may be considered, and the district may select more than one provider for a service type. The newly provided material specifically confirms that licensing for the new firewall must include features similar to a WatchGuard M470 firewall.
