Description
The City of Missoula is conducting the qualification stage of a two-stage, state-required alternative project delivery process for Construction Manager/General Contractor services for Fire Station 6. The anticipated project is a single-story building of approximately 12,000 square feet on an approximately two-acre site, including office and residential quarters, four apparatus bays, decontamination space, gear storage, a shop, ancillary spaces, and substantial site work. The anticipated project budget is $12 million to $14 million, with construction expected to begin approximately September 2027. The CMGC scope includes preconstruction collaboration, constructability reviews, cost estimating, value engineering, scheduling and logistics, risk management, subcontractor and supplier procurement, Guaranteed Maximum Price development, construction, commissioning, closeout, warranty services, and site management. Respondents must submit a concise, project-specific Statement of Qualifications addressing CMGC experience, three comparable projects completed or active within the last ten years, proposed staff and availability, financial capacity, insurance and bonding capacity, and conflicts of interest. Qualified respondents will be invited to a subsequent RFP for technical and price proposals.
