Description
Missoula County is soliciting construction bids for replacement of the Lolo Street Bridge over Rattlesnake Creek, including demolition of the existing bridge; construction of a prestressed concrete bridge with abutments, bridge rail, sidewalks, ADA ramps, approach guardrails, stormwater facilities, roadway reconstruction, pavement markings, erosion control, riprap, fencing, landscaping, and related site work. The project includes two bid schedules: Schedule A for bridge and general site work and Schedule B for water main replacement. Bidders must price both schedules, although the County may elect not to award Schedule B. Schedule B includes approximately 60 linear feet of 12-inch ductile iron water main, 140 linear feet of 14-inch ductile iron water main, 165 linear feet of pre-fabricated insulated 14-inch ductile iron water main suspended beneath the bridge, additional 10-inch and 6-inch water main, valves, fittings, air-release equipment, connections to existing mains, testing, casing and seals, and pipe hangers and connections. The work is subject to federal, state, and local requirements, including prevailing-wage requirements, Build America, Buy America requirements, environmental protections, and federal-aid contract provisions. A mandatory pre-bid conference is required, and bidders must submit a bid form, bid security, bidder information and qualifications, required certifications, and acknowledgment of addenda.
