Description
The City of Issaquah is soliciting bids for a complete, fully functional public EV charging installation at Tibbetts Valley Park. The scope includes four dual-port Level 2 chargers providing eight charging ports: three ChargePoint CT6000 50A dual-port chargers and one ChargePoint CT6000 50A dual-port charger with 23-foot cords. The contractor must furnish new equipment and all materials, install the chargers in accordance with the 100% site design, and provide site preparation, trenching, conduit, electrical service and interconnections, foundations, bollards or wheel stops, curbing, striping, signage, payment and networking systems, testing, and commissioning. The installation must comply with ADA, electrical, safety, accessibility, payment-card, networking, and applicable local, state, and federal requirements. Chargers must support SAE J1772 connections, public payment options including credit or debit cards, remote diagnostics, data reporting, and power sharing. The contractor must coordinate with the City, Puget Sound Energy, the equipment manufacturer, network provider, permitting authorities, and subcontractors; pay prevailing wages; meet applicable apprenticeship and EV infrastructure training requirements; provide a construction schedule, fixed-price itemized budget, qualifications, public-sector references, similar-project photographs, staffing information, subcontractor information, equity and sustainability information, deliverables, and proposed contract exceptions. A minimum one-year equipment and labor warranty is required, and the selected contractor must provide ongoing operations and maintenance support under the applicable project requirements.
