Description
The City of Sammamish Public Works Department is soliciting statements of qualifications from consulting firms to establish a pool of multiple on-call consultants for transportation planning, traffic engineering, road safety, traffic operations, travel demand and operational modeling, concurrency analysis, intelligent transportation systems, development review, traffic data collection, public outreach, and related services. Work will be authorized through individually negotiated task orders, and the City does not guarantee any minimum number or value of assignments. Required qualifications include at least eight years of relevant experience serving municipalities comparable in size or complexity, experience with multimodal transportation and safety improvements, technical capability with VISUM, SIDRA, Synchro, and other transportation analysis tools, and the ability to manage concurrent assignments and accelerated schedules. Statements of qualifications must address the proposed team, experience, project approach, references, relevant sample work, and conflicts of interest. The submission is limited to one PDF of no more than 12 pages, excluding the cover page, with text no smaller than 11 points. The total contract amount will not exceed $400,000; the anticipated contract period is January 2027 through December 31, 2028, with renewal options subject to applicable procurement requirements.
