Description
The City of Issaquah Department of Public Works is seeking consultant services to support design of the NW Juniper Street Improvements project. The project will extend a shared-use path from Newport Way NW eastward toward 7th Avenue NW and includes pedestrian lighting, striping, signing, driveway aprons, ADA ramps, landscaping, temporary irrigation, and related roadway improvements. The anticipated consultant scope includes project administration; preliminary engineering and right-of-way services; WSDOT-approved right-of-way plans and funding estimates; arborist services; environmental services, including National Environmental Policy Act documentation and a Critical Areas Report; structural and geotechnical engineering for trail-lighting standards and foundations; and possible culvert or pedestrian bridge support. Additional support may include transportation engineering, stormwater design expertise, lighting design expertise, and review before bidding. The City may retain the selected firm for the subsequent construction phase. Proposals are limited to 10 pages, with a one-page introductory letter, and must address company experience, key personnel, project understanding, scope, and familiarity with WSDOT/FHWA standards.
