Description
The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources seeks helicopter sling-load and transport services to move guzzler tanks, personnel, lumber, sheeting, roofing materials, and other supplies from one staging area to two remote drop sites. The contractor must provide a helicopter capable of lifting loads between 800 and 1,000 pounds, qualified operators, long lines and other sling-load equipment, and a fuel truck available at the staging area. A Hughes 500 is not acceptable; the specification identifies a Bell Ranger as an example of a suitable larger helicopter. The work includes up to five hours of on-site flight time and must be completed in one day.
