Description
The Military Sealift Command seeks a U.S.- or foreign-flagged general cargo roll-on/roll-off or lift-on/lift-off vessel for a 360-day time charter supporting U.S. Marine Corps missions and exercises in the Western Pacific. The vessel must provide at least 40,000 square feet of cargo space and transport rolling and general cargo, containers, and mission equipment. It must meet specified draft, range, speed, and endurance requirements and be equipped for cargo handling, including suitable ramps or onboard cranes, tie-down gear, and other required equipment. The contractor is responsible for vessel operation and maintenance, fuel procurement on a reimbursable basis, and specified onboard accommodations, meals, and support for government personnel. Proposals must include vessel and technical information, pricing, a completed fuel-consumption spreadsheet, and required vessel certificates and supporting materials. The solicitation contemplates award of up to two firm-fixed-price contracts. Offers are due November 2, 2026, at 11:00 Eastern Time.
