Description
Trinity Metro seeks qualified suppliers to provide on-demand deliveries of unleaded gasoline (87 octane, 10% ethanol) and ultra-low sulfur diesel to its fleet facility. Gasoline use is estimated at approximately 162,525 gallons annually, with typical deliveries of about 6,500 gallons every 11 days; diesel is ordered as needed, averaging approximately 350 gallons annually. Red-dyed diesel and heating oil are optional products. Pricing must be a fixed dollar margin per gallon above or below the applicable OPIS Fort Worth rack price, inclusive of freight, fees, additives, and surcharges. Deliveries are made into underground storage tanks during 9 a.m.–5 p.m. with at least one day’s advance notice. Suppliers must meet fuel quality, driver qualification, hazardous-material transport, delivery documentation, emergency response, and insurance requirements. The contract has a six-month initial term and three six-month renewal options.
