Description
Montgomery County’s Department of General Services, Division of Facilities Management, seeks a contractor to provide emergency/electric generator services at more than 400 County-owned and County-leased facilities. The scope includes quarterly inspection, testing, minor repairs, annual load testing, annual automatic transfer-switch inspections, major repairs and modifications, and emergency call-back services. The contract is a time-and-materials requirements contract with a one-year initial term and two additional one-year renewal options. The contractor must provide qualified personnel, materials, tools, equipment, permits, reporting, and on-site service. Critical emergency response is required within two hours, and general emergency response within six hours. Bidders must submit the solicitation, bid, and award sheet; current manufacturer catalogs; Company Background (Attachment I); and the Wage Requirements Certification when applicable as marked. The quotation sheet requires pricing for quarterly inspection/testing/minor repair, additional labor classifications, and discounts from manufacturers’ suggested retail prices.
