Description
Chesterfield County is soliciting bids for fireworks displays beginning July 4, 2027, and on July 4 of subsequent contract years. The contractor must furnish all fireworks, labor, materials, equipment, transportation, unloading, setup, discharge, tarps or coverings, and site cleanup. Each program must run for at least 20 minutes and begin at approximately 9:20 p.m., subject to weather and event-related adjustments. The solicitation includes four shell categories for the main program and four finale shell categories, plus a separate line for all other labor, materials, equipment, and related services. The contractor must provide annual safety data sheets, coordinate delivery and setup notifications, remove debris and misfired shells, and support possible additional County displays at the awarded prices and terms. The initial contract runs through July 31, 2027, with four successive one-year renewal options.
