The Naval Air Systems Command, V-22 Joint Program Office, intends to negotiate a sole-source delivery order with the Bell Boeing Joint Project Office for non-recurring engineering to integrate the Common Carriage solution for the AN/ALE-47 Countermeasures Dispensing Set on V-22 aircraft. The scope includes engineering, flight testing, validation and verification, and delivery of support products required for installation and sustainment. The effort also includes delivery and installation of A-Kits for flight-test aircraft and additional validation and verification activities. The estimated period of performance is two years. This is a notice of intent rather than a request for competitive proposals; capability statements may be submitted for the Government's consideration in determining whether to compete the requirement. The notice identifies Bell Boeing as the only known source with the requisite V-22 design expertise and complete engineering and technical data.
