Description
The Department of the Navy is seeking repair and modification services for one Integrated Starter System shaft, part number 06371-03801-101 and NSN 3040-016711418. The contractor must provide the facility, labor, materials, replacement parts, tooling, and test equipment necessary to inspect, repair or upgrade, reassemble, test, and return the shaft to Ready-for-Issue condition. Repairs must be performed at the contractor's identified facility in accordance with approved technical repair manuals, drawings, and specifications. The contractor must propose a Repair Turnaround Time, identify capacity constraints, and submit either firm-fixed-price or time-and-materials pricing, including estimated repair costs. Requirements include process-control documentation, Government inspection and acceptance, applicable quality-system and calibration controls, configuration management, enclosed storage, and required packaging. The initial induction period is 365 calendar days from contract award, with a Government option to extend it by 720 additional days; pricing is requested for a maximum of one unit over the entire contract period. The approved source is Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, CAGE code 78286, although repairs may be performed by a contractor or subcontractor subject to the stated technical and approval requirements.
