Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is conducting market research for up to 45 F-16 wing assemblies identified by four National Stock Numbers and associated part numbers. The Government anticipates a multiple-award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with five one-year ordering periods; delivery destination is identified as SW3210, with the delivery schedule to be determined. This is a Sources Sought notice rather than a solicitation for immediate contract award. Potential sources must demonstrate manufacturing, inspection, testing, packaging, and storage capabilities; access to the required technical data; compliance with engineering and quality requirements; and the ability to complete source qualification. Qualification includes government facility evaluation, manufacturing and process verification, an approved qualification test plan and report, and a pre-contract-award qualification article. Estimated qualification costs are $55,000, and qualification completion is estimated at 600 days. The requirement is not expected to be set aside for small businesses, and qualification does not guarantee contract award.
