Description
The Port seeks bids for mechanical maintenance dredging at the berthing areas of Piers 3 and 4 at Husky Terminal and Washington United Terminals. The bid form covers approximately 4,960 cubic yards at Piers 3 and 4 and 12,870 cubic yards at WUT. Dredged material deemed suitable is to be transported by bottom-dump barge to the Commencement Bay open-water disposal site; debris must be screened out and disposed of at an approved upland facility. The work includes associated dredging administration, field engineering and pre- and post-dredge hydrographic surveys. The contractor must comply with water-quality monitoring, environmental controls, marine traffic coordination, and applicable permits. The addendum sets substantial completion for dredging and open-water disposal operations by February 14, 2027, with final completion within 30 calendar days thereafter.
